Raise: Q1 2027

Be ready when investors ask

If an investor asked for your one-pager, your deck and your ask tomorrow, could you send all three, and would they agree with each other? In four weeks you’ll learn what goes into the pack an investor needs to take you seriously, how to build your own, and how to work out who to send it to.

What you’ll learn to build

Your Investor Pack

  • A one-page summary an investor can read in two minutes and repeat to a colleague
  • A pitch deck with every claim backed by evidence, and a list of where the proof sits
  • A list of 20 investors who fit your raise, with a reason for each
  • Your first message, ready to send

Who it’s for

Founders with a product in customers’ hands, preparing to raise a pre-seed or seed round in the next six months.

Week by week

Each week, a session teaches one part of your Investor Pack, and you build that part yourself before the next one. You’ll get the full guide to every week when you join.

  1. Week 1

Decide what you’re raising and why

Think like an investor. Know exactly how much you’re raising, what it buys and which kind of investor it suits.

  2. Week 2

Tell your story on one page

Make the case in one page. Turn your Raise Brief into a one-pager an investor can read in two minutes and repeat to a colleague.

  3. Week 3

Build your deck and back it with proof

Give investors a reason to believe you. Build your full deck and back every claim with evidence you can hand over.

  4. Week 4

Know who to ask and be ready to send

Find your investors and start the conversation. Build a list of investors who fit your raise, and leave ready to contact them.

How it runs

4 January to 1 February 2027. Online: a session each week, with Discussion Hours and a cohort chat in between.

  • Kick-off and a starting checkMeet the cohort and the Growth Studio team, and get a readiness check on the deck or summary you send us when you apply, read the way an investor would read it the first time.
  • A session each weekLed by the Growth Studio team: what makes each part of your Investor Pack good and how to put it together, with some group activities along the way.
  • Discussion HoursGroup sessions to share your drafts and questions with other founders and our experts, and see them the way an investor would.
  • Feedback on your workBuild each part in your own time, then send it to our AI reviewer for feedback before the next session.
  • Networking and a cohort chatQuick-fire introductions at kick-off, then a cohort chat to swap drafts with other founders and put questions to the experts.
  • Your before and afterAt the end we rerun your starting check, and the Sprint closes with awards for the best Investor Pack, the biggest before-and-after and the founder who did most for the group.

Why now

Investors are backing fewer early-stage companies. Seed-stage deal numbers fell by 27% in 2025, and seed-stage companies took longer to raise (British Business Bank, July 2026). When investors are this selective, it pays to have your answers ready before the first meeting.

Who you’ll work with

The Growth Studio team, who lead the sessions, and experts in early-stage fundraising who join the Discussion Hours and answer questions in the cohort chat, alongside a cohort of founders getting ready to raise.

What we can’t promise

We can’t promise investment or introductions: that part is between you and investors. You leave with everything ready to make the ask.
